This website is operated by RISC Software GmbH (FN 89831 f), hereinafter referred to as "we", "us" and "RISC", with its registered office in A-4232 Hagenberg. In this data protection declaration, we as the responsible party pursuant to Art. 4 (7) EU-DSGVO describe which data we collect when you visit our website and for what purpose we process it. For all relevant contact details, please refer to the imprint or the last passage of this privacy policy.
Since the protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us, we strictly adhere to the legal requirements of the Data Protection Act (DSG) and the EU Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when collecting and processing your personal data.
In the following, we inform you in detail about the scope and purpose of our data processing as well as your rights as a data subject. Therefore, please read our data protection declaration carefully before you continue to use our website and, if necessary, give your consent to data processing.
The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. However, different regulations may apply to the use of individual services, which we will point out to you separately.
Apart from the cookies described in detail below, we only collect and store the data that you yourself provide to us by entering it in our input masks or otherwise actively interacting with our website.
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, address, telephone number or date of birth.
When you use our website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to visit our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display the website and to ensure its stability and security in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f EU-DSGVO:
In addition to the data mentioned above, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website; these are small text files which are stored on your hard drive in relation to the browser you are using and which transmit certain information to the body which sets the cookie (in this case by us). At the current state of the art, cookies cannot execute programmes or transfer viruses to your computer, but only serve to make the Internet offer more user-friendly and effective.
Our website(s) use the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:
Transient cookies
Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. These include, in particular, session cookies, which store a so-called session ID that can be used to assign various requests from your browser to the same session. This allows your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. These session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.
Persistent cookies
Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period of time, which may vary depending on the cookie. However, you can delete the cookies yourself at any time in your browser settings.
It is possible for you to change your browser settings so that, for example, you refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. In this case, however, we must inform you that you may no longer be able to use all the functions of our website.
We also use cookies to identify you for subsequent visits if you have an account with us - otherwise you will need to log in each time you visit.
The Flash cookies we use are not collected by your browser, but by your Flash plug-in. We also use HTML5 storage objects that are stored on your terminal device. These objects store the required data independently of the browser you are using and have no automatic expiry date. You can prevent the processing of Flash cookies by installing appropriate add-ons in your browser or using it in private mode.
Personal data that goes beyond the information stored by cookies is only processed by us if you voluntarily provide it to us, for example when you register with us, enter into a contractual relationship with us or otherwise contact us. This only involves contact data and information about the concerns with which you approach us.
We use the personal data provided by you exclusively within the scope of fulfilling the respective purpose of the processing (e.g. registration, sending newsletters, processing an order, sending information material and advertising, processing a competition, answering a question, enabling access to certain information) and/or if this is permitted by law (in particular pursuant to Art. 6 EU-DSGVO) (e.g. sending advertising and information material to existing customers).
The purpose of processing your data is the operation of our website and the targeted provision of company-specific information including the presentation of the range of our goods and services (marketing). Any further use of your data will only take place if you have given your express prior consent. You can revoke your consent - as explained in detail below - at any time for the future.
Data that you have provided to us exclusively for customer care or for marketing and information purposes will generally be stored until three years after our last contact. However, if you wish, we will also delete your data before the expiry of this period, provided that there is no legal obstacle to this.
In the event of a contract being initiated or concluded, we will process your personal data after the contract has been fully processed until the expiry of the warranty, guarantee, limitation and statutory retention periods applicable to us, and furthermore until the end of any legal disputes in which the data is required as evidence.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. This service uses so-called "cookies" (see above). The information generated by cookies about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there.
Google uses this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services to the website operator relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
The storage of cookies required by Google Analytics can be prevented by a corresponding setting in your browser software; however, this may mean that you are unable to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) as well as its transmission and processing by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
If you would like further information on the type, scope and purpose of the data collected by Google, we recommend that you read their privacy policy.
External links
We also provide links to other websites on our website for information purposes only. These websites are not under our control and are therefore not covered by the terms of this privacy policy. Should you activate a link, it is possible that the operator of this website will collect data about you and process it in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours.
YouTube components with extended data protection mode
On our website, we use components (videos) of the company YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave, 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc, Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. We use the "extended data protection mode" option provided by YouTube.
When you call up a page that has an embedded video, a connection is established to the YouTube servers and the content is displayed on the website by informing your browser. According to YouTube's information, only data is transmitted to the YouTube server in "extended data protection mode", in particular which of our Internet pages you have visited when you watch the video. If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, this information is assigned to your YouTube member account. You can prevent this by logging out of your member account before visiting our website. Further information on YouTube's data protection is provided by Google under the following link: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
Use of reCAPTCHA
In order to protect input forms on our website, we use the "reCAPTCHA" service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google". The use of this service makes it possible to distinguish whether the corresponding input is of human origin or is misused through automated machine processing.
To our knowledge, the referrer URL, the IP address, the behaviour of website visitors, information about the operating system, browser and length of stay, cookies, display instructions and scripts, the user's input behaviour and mouse movements in the area of the "reCAPTCHA" checkbox are transmitted to "Google".
Google uses the information obtained in this way, among other things, to digitise books and other printed matter and to optimise services such as Google Street View and Google Maps (e.g. house number and street name recognition).
The IP address transmitted as part of "reCAPTCHA" will not be merged with other Google data unless you are logged into your Google account at the time of using the "reCAPTCHA" plug-in. If you wish to prevent this transmission and storage of data about you and your behaviour on our website by "Google", you must log out of "Google" before visiting our site or using the reCAPTCHA plug-in.
The use of the "reCAPTCHA" service obtained information is in accordance with the Google terms of use:
As a matter of principle, your data will not be transferred to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so, the transfer of data is necessary for the performance of a contractual relationship concluded between us or you have previously expressly consented to the transfer of your data. External order processors or other cooperation partners only receive your data insofar as this is necessary for the execution of the contract or we have a legitimate interest in doing so. If one of our order processors comes into contact with your personal data, we ensure that they comply with the provisions of the data protection laws in the same way as we do.
We do not sell or otherwise market your personal data to third parties outside the group.
If our contractual partners or processors are based in a third country, i.e. a state outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you of the consequences of this circumstance in the description of the offer.
We use numerous technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction and against access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments on the Internet.
you as a data subject of our data processing have the following rights and remedies:
Right to information (Art. 15 EU GDPR).
As a data subject of our data processing, you have the right to request information about whether and, if so, which personal data about you are being processed. For your own protection - so that no one else receives information about your data - it may be necessary for us to verify their identity in an appropriate form.
Right to rectification (Art. 16) and erasure (Art. 17 EU-DSGVO)
You have the right to request without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you or - taking into account the purposes of the data processing - the completion of incomplete personal data, as well as the erasure of your data, provided that the criteria of Art. 17 EU-DSGVO are met.
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 EU-DSGVO)
Subject to the legal requirements, you have the right to restrict the processing of all personal data collected. As of the restriction request, this data will only be processed with individual consent or for the assertion and enforcement of legal claims.
Right to data portability (Art. 20 EU-DSGVO)
You may request the unhindered and unrestricted transfer of collected personal data to a third party.
Right to object (Art. 21 EU-DSGVO)
You may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is necessary for the purposes of protecting our legitimate interests or those of a third party. Your data will no longer be processed after objection, unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims. You may object to data processing for the purpose of direct marketing at any time with effect for the future.
Revocation of consent
If you have separately given your consent to the processing of your data, you may revoke this consent at any time. Such a revocation will affect the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have expressed it to us.
If you take a measure to enforce your rights under the GDPR as listed above, RISC Software GmbH must respond to the requested measure or comply with the request without undue delay, but no later than one month after receipt of your request.
We will respond to all reasonable requests within the legal framework free of charge and as promptly as possible.
The data protection authority is responsible for requests concerning violation of the right to information, violation of the rights to confidentiality, to rectification or to deletion.
